Beginning on Ash Wednesday, 2/18, let us join together on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM for our Lenten Midweek Services. This year, we will learn from the Seven Words that Jesus uttered on the cross, the CrossWords. As St. Paul tells us, “For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1:18). These meditations on Jesus’ sayings will help us to repent of our sins that put Him on the cross by focusing on His suffering and death for the forgiveness of those sins.
